Xavier Gómez Auriac, originally from Chile with French heritage, is a trilingual educator with a strong background in mathematics and international education. He graduated with a degree in Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, ranking among the top 10 students of his generation. Deeply passionate about educational innovation, Xavier has led several initiatives, including co-authoring Mayans Count, a children’s book honoring Latin American culture published on Amazon, and preparing students nationwide through platforms such as Puntaje Nacional on YouTube and Mundo on Chilean national television.
He has taught in bilingual IB schools, designing inquiry-based math curricula and promoting inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Xavier brings a global perspective to his teaching, along with a natural ability to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of teaching, he enjoys traveling, exploring new languages and cuisines, and spending time in nature. He has also volunteered in educational and community oriented programs across Brazil, Bolivia, the United States, and Chile—experiences that continue to shape his commitment to service and global citizenship. Xavier is thrilled to join Tessa International School and contribute to its vibrant and diverse learning community.
