Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with classroom and behavior management
  • Keeps the classroom and the school clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Assists Lead Teacher in a range of tasks as needed
  • Assists with pastoral care
  • Leads outdoor play and any field trips

Qualifications

Aftercare Teacher

Job Details 

Tessa is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging person to supervise an aftercare class from 3:00  to 7PM, 5 days a week. Aftercare involves structured care of the children in English, so that  children are well looked after and having fun until their parents come to collect them any time  between 3:30PM to 7PM. Aftercare teacher is responsible for the safety and well-being of the  students in the class. The teacher will have to lead different activities and follow a structured  schedule so that our students can benefit from this extra time at school every day.  

Employees are solely responsible for this portion, including reporting to parents and reporting to the  leadership team. 

Job Type: Part-time 

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour 

To be considered for this position, the following criteria is required: 

  • Experience with children ranging from 2 to 8 years old

Music & Movement Facilitator & Floater

We are seeking a passionate, reflective, and dedicated Music & Movement Facilitator & Floater to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year and help our youngest learners grow academically, physically, socially, and emotionally in a bilingual, inquiry-based environment.

Role Summary

This is a dual-role position supporting both specialist instruction and general classroom operations. As Music & Movement Facilitator, the assistant leads developmentally appropriate sessions in English for all PK3 and PK4 classes. These sessions promote rhythm, coordination, gross motor development, musicality, and creative expression, and are designed in collaboration with the Music and PSPE teachers. The facilitator is also responsible for documenting and tracking student progress related to Music & Movement learning outcomes.

In addition to this teaching role, the assistant serves as a floater, providing classroom support throughout the school based on daily needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Music & Movement Facilitator (PK3 & PK4)
  • Lead 30-minute Music & Movement sessions (in English) for each PK3 and PK4 class twice per week (16 sessions/week)
  • Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities that support musical expression, rhythm, spatial awareness, and gross motor coordination
  • Collaborate with the Music and PSPE teachers to plan learning experiences aligned with school learning outcomes
  • Maintain an inclusive, joyful, and safe learning environment for students across all language tracks
  • Document and track children’s development in Music & Movement, including participation, skill growth, and areas for support
  1. Schoolwide Floating Assistant
  • Serve as a floater, providing classroom support throughout the school based on daily needs

Kindergarten/Primary Assistant Teacher

We are looking for a caring Kindergarten/Primary Assistant Teacher for one of our classes in the French track for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with various classrooms in KG & Primary and in behavior management
  • Keeps the classroom and the school clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Assists Lead Teacher in a range of tasks as needed
  • Leads outdoor play and any field trips
  • Participates in meetings and trainings as needed
  • Assists in other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of French & English
  • 3 years working experience in school 
  • Degree in education, child development or similar discipline preferred
  • Experience with the IB PYP is preferable, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, a sense of humor, humility, and empathy
  • Team-player 
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Previous experience at an international school and/or cultural fluency derived from international experience is a plus

Calendrier 

  • 8 hours Monday to Friday
  • Possibility for part-time positions and to work extra hours
