Carlos Hualpa, a native of Manta, Ecuador, brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the STEM program. With a background in Industrial Engineering, Carlos has built a career driven by his passion for education and helping students discover the excitement of STEM.
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Carlos has taught a wide range of subjects, including Math, Science, Chemistry, English, and Social Studies. His experience spans both Ecuador and the United States, where he has also taught Spanish as a Foreign Language.
In recognition of his dedication to STEM education, Carlos was selected as a STEMteachersNYC 2024 Siegel STEM Fellow, a prestigious fellowship that supports educator leadership and professional growth in STEM fields.
Known for his positive energy and engaging teaching style, Carlos believes that every student learns differently. He is committed to making STEM accessible, hands-on, and enjoyable, inspiring students to think critically, solve problems, and explore the world around them.
