Barbara Ferdinandi
Lead Teacher & Nursery Coordinator
BBarbara was born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina. She graduated from Cliffside Park High School and earned a B.A. in English Learner Studies. In 2011, she moved with her family to Hong Kong S.A.R., where she began her career as a bilingual teacher. Over more than 11 years in the field, she has developed a deep passion for Early Childhood Education.
Barbara pursued further studies in Early Childhood Education through a PGCE program at the University of Sunderland and has a strong interest in child psychology and global teaching approaches. She is currently undertaking a Master of Arts in Innovative Early Childhood Education at the University of Colorado Denver, with a focus on the Reggio Emilia approach.
Barbara has been part of the Tessa community since 2022. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature and preparing traditional meals with her family.
