TessaPrep classes include Spanish, French and Mandarin immersion classes offered by Tessa’s own team. They take place for 1.5 hours twice a week which we believe is the exposure necessary to give students a meaningful foundation in the language.
The goal of the after school language program is to teach students the language and culture through varied activities including art projects, games, songs, and other cultural activities. Basic elements include listening, speaking and an introduction to writing/spelling/characters.
The program strives to provide a multi-sensory, highly interactive, engaging and fun environment for learning, in a safe and supervised environment. Children will be directly involved in their enjoyment of learning.
Classes are open to children who are not enrolled with Tessa International School during the day, whether they are native speakers or not.
We also provide a class on Saturday afternoon for advanced writing and reading.
We offer a pick-up service from several Hoboken schools. Let us know (email@example.com) if you may be interested in this service and which school your child attends if not enrolled in Tessa International School.
We offer aftercare services – TessaCare – from 5 PM to 7 PM.
The program is divided into three trimesters.
1st Trimester: September to December
2nd Trimester: January to March
3rd Trimester: April to June
