Tessa International School Financial Aid
We encourage all families to consider an education from Tessa International School regardless of their financial situation, as we are committed to providing financial support to families with demonstrated financial need.
Only students who have been accepted to Tessa International School and have completed the financial aid application process will be considered for financial aid. If you are applying for financial aid, all the required documentation must be submitted before the admissions decision can be processed. Financial Aid applications must be submitted at the same time as your admissions application as follows:
- Rolling Admissions Applicants: Same day as application submission.
- Make sure to review this document before you apply online. The School uses a third party, TADS, to evaluate the financial ability of each applicant. Financial need is estimated based on a combination of factors, including income, family size, and adjustment for cost of living in the tri-state area. There is a $60 application fee.
- Divorced / separated parents each need to fill one application (if one parent applies with low income and the other does not, the application will not be looked into).
Scholarship from the French government
Since Tessa is accredited by the French government, means-tested scholarships are available to help French families fund their children’s tuition. French school children from PK3 to KG enrolled on the Register of French Nationals Living Abroad and attending a School which is part of the French educational network abroad are entitled to this financial assistance.
The scholarships are directly allocated to the school and cover all or a part of the annual tuition, the new student registration fee, or transportation.
The scholarship campaign for the 2024-2025 school year is closed. The scholarship campaign for the 2025-2026 school year is not opened yet.
