Bilingual Summer Camp for Ages 5–10

At Tessa Summer Camp, our 5–10 year olds enjoy dynamic programming that balances academic enrichment with summer fun. Campers are grouped by age and language track to ensure a personalized experience for each learner.
Language Tracks & Grouping:
Campers choose between French, Spanish, or Mandarin and are placed in small groups by age. Most importantly, we continue our focus on differentiated instruction: children are supported according to their language level, whether they’re just beginning or already fluent. When possible, we group by language level to ensure appropriate challenge and support.

Weekly Themes
Every week, children embark on age-appropriate adventures tied to an exciting new theme, exploring inspiring careers like Amazing Scientist, Deep Sea Marine Biologist, Adventurous Pilot, and more!
Special surprise visitorsenhance the experience, such as a petting zoo during Vet Week or a hands-on science workshop from the Liberty Science Center during Science Week.
Our summer camp themes are designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and ensure variety each week. They also make it easy for children to join at any time during our nine-week session. Each week is a fresh start with new discoveries and fun!

Sample of Daily Schedule
Children will enjoy a variety of multi-sensory, interactive experiences in the target language, guided by native-speaking lead teachers who bring culture and language to life. Activities include singing, music and movement, indoor creative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor games led by a dedicated sports teacher for even more exercise and outdoor fun! Each group’s schedule and activities are carefully adapted to match our campers’ developmental stage.
