Barbara Ferdinandi
Lead Teacher & Nursery Coordinator
Barbara was born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina. She graduated from Cliffside Park High School and earned a B.A. in English Learner Studies. In 2011, she moved with her family to Hong Kong S.A.R., where she began her career as a bilingual teacher. Over the course of more than 11 years, she developed a strong passion for Early Childhood Education. She also undertook PGCE studies in Early Childhood Education at the University of Sunderland and thrives on studying Child Psychology and exploring effective teaching methods from around the world.
Barbara has been at TESSA since 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Innovative Early Childhood Education based on the Reggio Emilia Approach at the University of Colorado-Denver.
Barbara loves to explore nature and prepare traditional meals with her family.
