Charlotte Yu
Assistant Teacher
Charlotte Yu is a Taiwanese American educator who is passionate about helping young children grow into confident and joyful bilingual learners. She believes language learning should feel meaningful and engaging, and she strives to create a warm classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, play, and express themselves. Having attended Taipei American School, she experienced an international IB education that continues to shape her commitment to inquiry-based and globally minded learning.
Charlotte graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a minor in Education Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Bilingual and Bicultural Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Fluent in Mandarin and English, she incorporates movement, storytelling, and hands-on activities into her teaching, bringing creativity, empathy, and energy to support the growth of the whole child.
