Born and raised in New Jersey to Dominican parents, Jennifer developed an early appreciation for language and culture, growing up bilingual in English and Spanish.
Her interest in working with young children began in high school, where she participated in a Child Development vocational program—an experience that sparked her commitment to supporting children during their formative years.
Jennifer brings several years of experience in early childhood education, including roles as a lead teacher and as part of the leadership team in a licensed childcare center, where she supported both classroom instruction and program operations. She has also provided individualized academic support to elementary-aged students, helping to strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Montclair State University. Her background in counseling informs her attentive and supportive approach, with a focus on each child’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Jennifer is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident, supported, and engaged in their learning.
