Jia Jia
Lead Teacher
Jia was born and educated in China before moving to the U.S. to earn her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Boston University. She later earned her M.S.Ed. in TESOL from the University of Pennsylvania with distinction and a Dean’s Scholarship. She actively participates in research projects at the Early Childhood Learning Lab, gaining in-depth knowledge of children's cognitive, emotional, and social development. For the past five years, Jia has taught children ages 5–12 in Beijing, Boston, and Philadelphia across preschool, bilingual immersion, and subject-based settings. As a passionate bilingual educator, Jia is deeply committed to building warm, trusting relationships with her students. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that supports each child’s individual growth.
