Lily Chang
Lead Teacher
Dr. Lily Chang brings over 20 years of experience in education, including teaching and school leadership in international schools across Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Her background includes extensive experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, multilingual learners, and creating engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Dr. Chang believes that every child learns best in a classroom where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to take risks. She is passionate about building strong partnerships with families and creating an inclusive learning environment that celebrates each child's unique strengths and cultural background.
Outside of school, Dr. Chang enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, hiking with her golden retriever, Max, and discovering new places throughout New Jersey with her husband. She is excited to become part of the Tessa community and looks forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth with her students and their families.
