Mengying (Echo) Zeng
Lead Teacher
Echo Zeng grew up in China and is a Mandarin educator with experience teaching students from Pre-K through 6th grade. She has taught in China, Singapore, and the United States.
She incorporates games, music, stories, and interactive activities into her teaching to make Mandarin meaningful and engaging. She also enjoys connecting Mandarin with different subjects, giving students opportunities to explore the world around them while developing their language, thinking, and curiosity. She believes children learn best in a warm, supportive, and respectful environment where they feel comfortable and confident.
She also plays traditional Chinese musical instruments. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and cooking.
