Admission Steps

Start the Process
We invite your family to visit our campus, either on-site or virtually (recommended, but not required).
To begin the admission process, please complete the online application form.
If you wish to apply for Financial Aid, please fill in the Financial Aid application at the same time.

Screening of Your Child
After applying, register for one of our Tessa Playdate/Virtual Screenings, where children will be assessed, and parents will be interviewed by our admissions team. For students applying to Kindergarten and Primary, submission of a progress report and/or a recommendation letter from a teacher or administrator at your child’s current daycare/school is required.

Notification of Admission
Once all relevant documents have been submitted, we will review your application and notify you of our decision via email. Upon acceptance, a signed financial agreement and a non-refundable deposit are required to secure your child’s spot. We look forward to welcoming your child to our world of learning!

Application and Enrollment Information
Age Requirement
- Nursery
- Should be 2 years old by December 31st
- Pre-K3
- Should be 3 years old by December 31st
- Pre-K4
- Should be 4 years old by December 31st
- Kindergarten
- Should be 5 years old by December 31st
Language Proficiency
Tessa International School welcomes students of all proficiency levels in English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin until 2nd Grade. Additional language support might be available based on each child’s individual needs, ensuring a personalized learning experience.
Applying in Preschool
Due to limited space in our preschool program, we strongly encourage families to apply for nursery enrollment. If no spaces are available, your child may be placed on a waitlist.
