Elodie Passelaigue
Lead Teacher
Elodie was born in Salon de Provence, a tiny medieval town in the heart of Provence. She started teaching Pre-K over ten years ago at Science Language and Arts International School in Brooklyn and joined the ranks of Tessa International School in 2021. She holds a Masters Degree in Project Management from the UQO, in Hull, QC and second in Integrated Teaching through the Arts from Lesley University, in Cambridge, MA. She also just obtained her CAPEFÉ from the University of Poitiers.
Besides teaching, Elodie raises two beautiful mixed heritage girls: Eléa who is neurodivergent and working hard at affirming her independence at 15 years of age and Tala, larger than life, who is entering second grade at Tessa this school year. After hours, Elodie heads the wholesale department of a Japanese fashion brand in North America and is also developing her career as a visual artist.
