Tong (Karen) Jin
Assistant Teacher
Karen Jin is a dedicated bilingual educator with over six years of teaching and mentoring experience across China, Taiwan, and the United States. She holds both a CTCSOL and a TESOL certification, allowing her to teach in both Mandarin and English classrooms. Karen completed her Master’s degree in Education at Northwestern University, where her studies focus on curriculum design, language, and identity. Her professional background includes teaching at universities, primary schools, preschools, and tutoring international students in subjects ranging from Mandarin and English to math and science. She is passionate about creating student-centered, engaging learning environments that celebrate curiosity, cultural diversity, and individual growth. Karen’s goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
