Originally from New Jersey, Jocelyn earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and art history from The George Washington University. She then joined Teach For America, where she began her teaching career in Minnesota and completed her master’s degree in elementary education at the University of St. Thomas in 2026.
Over the past three years, she taught at a dual language school, where she grew her teaching practice and gained a deeper understanding of teaching English to multilingual learners. This experience solidified her belief that all students deserve an education that sparks curiosity and nurtures a love for learning. Having lived abroad as a child, Jocelyn values a global education. She is dedicated to empowering students to thrive in diverse communities and grow as individuals. She is excited to continue her journey as an educator at Tessa.
