Silvia Asís
Lead Teacher
Silvia was born and raised in Colombia, where she developed a passion for working with young children from an early age.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages Education from Universidad Santiago de Cali and has over 12 years of experience in early childhood education, specializing in teaching both Spanish and English. Throughout her career, she has worked in international school environments and has enjoyed creating meaningful learning experiences through inquiry-based and play-based approaches. Silvia is particularly inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which views children as capable, curious, and competent learners.
Two years ago, Silvia moved to New Jersey, where she also became a mother. This experience has further deepened her understanding of early childhood development and strengthened her commitment to supporting young children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them.
